Nigerian Army acquires land and pays compensation for the construction of Nigerian Army Post Service Housing Units in Otukpo.



The Nigerian Army Post Service Housing Development Ltd was yesterday in Otukpo to finalise and pay compensation for the land it has acquired for the construction of the Mega City Housing Units at Eupi, Otukpo.
Present at the signing ceremony and the payment of compensation were the SOLAD of Otukpo Local Government Council, Prince George Alli, the Company Secretary of the Nigerian Army Post Service Housing Development Ltd, Barrister Paul Ankwa Edeh, Chief I.G. O Odeh, the clan head of Eupi and Hon. Johnson Baba Odeh who represented the owners of the land.

With this signing and payment of compensation to the owners of the Land acquired, the construction is set to move apace.
Otukpo Local Government will be the first Local Government in Nigeria that is not a state capital to benefit from this scheme.

Recall that on the 3rd of March, 2017, the Otukpo Local Government Council has entered into an agreement with the Nigerian Army Post-Service Housing Development to construct mega-housing units in Otukpo in which the Nigerian Army was represented by General M. Bashir and Barrister Paul Ankwa Edeh at that signing ceremony at the Otukpo Local Government Secretariat. while Otukpo was represented by its Sole Admin, Prince George Alli.
