Pinnick beats Anjorin to CAF Executive Seat




President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick has been elected into the Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Pinnick defeated Benin’s Anjorin Moucharafou 32-17 to win the CAF Executive Committee West Zone B ticket. He will serve for four years.
The election also took place in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, where earlier Ahmad Ahmad of Madagascar had rocked African football by beating CAF President Issah Hayatou 34-20.
