Wike congratulates Tor Tiv ,His Majesty, Orchivirigh Prof James Ortese Ayatse

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has congratulated the Tor Tiv, His Majesty, Orchivirigh Prof James Ortese Ayatse on his successful coronation as Tor Tiv V.

In a congratulatory message to the Tor Tiv, Governor Wike stated that he is confident that the traditional ruler will bring his wealth of experience as a successful administrator and academic to bear on the development efforts of the Tiv nation.

He added that from his personal knowledge of the newly crowned Tor Tiv, he remains confident that he will play a critical role in the restoration of peace and security in the country.

Governor Wike recalled that as the Supervising Minister of Education, he witnessed first hand the patriotism, zeal and commitment the new Tor Tiv brought to bear in the establishment of the Federal University in Katsina State

While praying God to grant the new Tor Tiv the courage and good health to diligently serve the Tiv Ethnic Nationality and humanity, he assured him of the deep respect and love of the Rivers people.

The governor pointed out that traditional rulers are key to the unity and development of the country as they serve as vital links between the state and the people.
