BENUE APC CRISIS; We refuse to continue with impunity.

When the party was formed, it adopted the slogan: CHANGE!
This CHANGE, in all intents and purposes, is CHANGE to the right values, re – orientation, patriotism, legitimacy and justice.
The CHANGE is not really change of nomenclature; from PDP to APC. It is CHANGE from wrong to right; fear to freedom; impunity to legality; imposition to democracy; violence to peace, and cruelty to justice.

In Benue, the true aim of this CHANGE was betrayed when Senator George Akume robbed and imposed illegitimate candidates over the rightful candidates in 2014. The seed of evil was diabolically sown, and we cannot expect to reap anything good, except if one basks in the delusion of grandeur. Impunity and violence begets like offspring, and this is what we are getting in Benue at the moment.

Just a COMMON primary elections of the APC in Benue to elect candidates for Councillorship and Chairmanship seats has turned Benue to a war zone. Killings, destructions, gun shots, maiming, imposition, threats and promises of more. These are the official LEGACIES Senator George Akume is bequeathing to Benue State via his agents provocateur of impunity and imposition like Governor Ortom and like minds.

We have to speak out. We have to call names. We have to tell them it cannot continue this way. We have to let them know they don’t own Benue or any of her fragments. They don’t own us, and can’t determine for us without our consent. They do not own the monopoly of God’s grace which they are misinterpreting. They should not destroy the glory of God upon their lives by the evil acts they are steadily entrenching on an otherwise God’s own state.

Elections in Afghanistan and Iraq have officially been declared more free and fair and peaceful than APC primaries in Benue State. All thanks to Senator Akume, Con star Abba Yaro and Governor Ortom. Thanks for the infamous legacies. Just some few hours ago, my bosom friend, Saater Tiseer, was fatally butchered by franchised thugs because of the APC primaries in Ushongo. Blood is flowing everywhere. Protests are rocking the state. Court injunctions are endless. Where do we go from here?
Thank you, Senator George Akume, the Face of “Bloody CHANGE” in Benue! Everything that has a beginning must have an end; that is the natural rule of nature.

No matter how long it takes, we must triumph and we must survive! When the right time comes, all these nefarious acts will become stale and incapacitated. It cannot go further than the time appointed by God and our common stoic determination, and that time is not long from now. It is an inevitable necessity!

“You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word. It is victory, victory at all costs, victory in spite of all terror, victory, however long and hard the road may be; for without victory, there is no survival.” ~ Winston Churchill
