Charlie Murphy, Eddie Murphy's big brother (by one year) and Hollywood star in his own right, is dead at the age of 57. He was reportedly battling Leukemia and had been undergoing chemotherapy.
TMz reports:
According to Charlie's manager, he died from leukemia Wednesday morning in a NYC hospital.
Charlie was the breakout star of "The Chappelle Show," and also co-wrote a few of Eddie's movies like Norbit and Vampire in Brooklyn.

His last tweet was a haunting one.
He's recently been on the stand up comedy tour The Comedy Get Down alongside Cedric The Entertainer, George Lopez, D.L. Hughley, and Eddie Griffin. The tour promoters posted about an upcoming show just yesterday.
Sadly, Charlie's wife, Tisha Taylor Murphy, died in 2009 from cervical cancer. The picture above was taken in 2007.
The couple had 2 children, as well as Charlie's older child from a previous relationship.
