Wife to popular Nigerian pop star Dr Sid, Simi Esiri have also entered the publishing business. She launched her magazine called Schick recently. 

The former lawyer and mother of 1 has released the first issue of Schick Magazine and she has the ever beautiful Nigerian screen goddess Rita Dominic on the front cover.

The maiden issue is titled: ‘THE POWER ISSUE’

According to Bella Naija, it celebrates African women playing pivotal roles in shaping the fashion, beauty and entertainment industries across the continent”. Schick will be distributed mainly in Nigeria and other parts of Africa.
“The aim of the publication is to bring a fresh voice that appeals to anyone who has any sort of interest in fashion, whether they are actively involved in the industry or not. Our purpose is to engage, inform and inspire people throughout the continent, in a way that’s relevant and palpable” further says the magazine’s creative director Titi Adesanya.
Simi Esiri was once the Deputy Editor of Complete Fashion. She started her career in fashion by writing for the website RubysView.com. It is claimed that she has also styled top international celebrities such as Alexandra Burke.

Dr Sid and Simi Esiri got married in 2014 in a very classy and glamorous ceremony. They have a daughter together called Sidney.
