The 2017 Democracy Day activities commenced yesterday in Benue with an interdenominational church service at Makurdi Christian Centre.
Governor Samuel Ortom, his wife Dr Eunice Ortom, the Deputy Governor Engineer Benson Abounu with his with Justice Mary Abounu, the Speaker Benue State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Terkimbi Ikyange and members of the House, Chief Judge of the State Justice Iorhemen Hwande as well as members of the State Executive and Security Councils attended the service.
