Breaking: Sanusi II sacks Kano emirate council for betrayal

In a dramatic turn events, Kano emirate council has sacked its acting secretary, Alhaji Isa Ado Bayero.

Bayero, popularly known as Isa Pilot was a longstanding associate and confidant of late emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero.

A source closed to the Emir Muhammad Sunusi II told our correspondent that Isa Pilot has been on the watch lists of the emirate Council as a figure believed to have allegedly divulged classified documents.

The impeccable source told Vanguard that right from onset the Emir Muhammad Sunusi II was not comfortable with Isa Pilot because of the fact that he was more close to late Bayero family.

The dismissed scribe was also believed to have served as front in all business deals and interests to the late emir.

“You should know that even the acting capacity of the emirate Council secretary was given to Isa because of his perceived closeness to late Ado Bayero as a honour.”

Speaking further, the source said “Emir Muhammad Sunusi II has no choice to boot him out owing solely to the way and manner classified documents to the emirate became public documents overnight”.

Efforts to speak to the Chief of Staff to the emir, Alhaji Munir Sunusi Bayero proved abortive as all his known GSM lines were permanently locked.
