A thanksgiving service was held in honour of former Federal Commissioner at Federal Character Commission and first female Speaker in Nigeria Chief Mrs Margaret Icheen as she clocked 60 at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Cathedral Makurdi, Benue State on Sunday 25 June 2017 .

In attendance were the representative of the Benue state Governor, Mr Tony Amase,the ex Gov of Benue state,Gabriel Suswam, ex Speaker,Mzenda Iho, PDP stalwarts, members,friends and family.

After the service, a reception was held at her residence.
