Manchester United’s £75million signing Lukaku arrested for hosting a wild pool party Pogba in Los Angeles

Football star Romelu Lukaku who recently moved from Everton to Manchester United for a fee of £75m, was arrested after hosting a wild pool party with fellow teammate Paul Pogba.

Sun UK reports that he 24-year-old striker was nicked for breaching the peace after he danced with bikini-clad girls at his rented mansion in Los Angeles.
Lukaku had ignored five complaints by cops about the boozy bash.

Beverly Hills Police Department revealed that Lukaku was technically arrested and given a citation. But it was not a physical arrest — which would have involved handcuffs and being taken to jail.
Lukaku is due to appear in court in LA on October 2 — two days after United have a home fixture against Crystal Palace.

A police spokesman said the player received a “misdemeanour citation for excessive noise.”
He added: “The citation was issued after officers responded to five other noise complaints from the same location, which resulted in verbal warnings.”

The arrest took place last Sunday night following a barbecue and pool party.

The Sun obtained exclusive pictures of Lukaku and Pogba, 24, posing with a female pal.

A source said: “Both players were letting their hair down and having fun.

“They were very talkative and danced quite a bit.”

Karen Shotbolt, United’s media manager, said she could not speak for Lukaku as he was not yet officially a United player.

But she confirmed: “There was a barbecue at the house Romelu was staying in. Paul was there.

“There were about 30 people there. It was finished by 8pm.”

Lukaku and Pogba are known to be good friends off the pitch 

Pogba shared video of them celebrating his move to Manchester United.
