Samuel Ioron Foundation celebrates Mandela day with a "Speak Out ,Girl Child" event in Makurdi,Benue State. PHOTOS .

Founder of Samuel Ioron Foundation and Young African Leaders Initiative member,Mrs Ngunan Ioron- Aloho and her husband Mr Vanen Aloho on July 18th celebrated the Nelson Mandela International Day by organizing a #YALIserves event tagged 'Speak Up, Girl Child.

 The program concentrated on the Sustainable Development Goals 4,1,3 for Girl Children. Topics from Gender based violence and it's effects on the Girl Child was discussed, Entrepreneurship and it's influence on the Girl Child and the Act and importance of Volunteerism.

 The event welcomed the Hon Member House of Assembly representing Buruku Local Government, Hon Ngunan Addingi (Committee Chairman on Education) , Love Idoko, the host and Founder of Activating success, Onyinye Okoye of Orenda Schools, the coordinator YALI Benue chapter Dorothy Akende and a host of dedicated youths. After the program, opportunities were presented to youths to volunteer for International Organization and community development service.
