Benue born music Icon, 2Baba Idibia visits Internally Displaced People in Makurdi,presents relief materials. (PHOTOS).

In a bid to raise awareness over  the plight of internally displaced persons in Nigeria, music legend and Benue born Music Icon 2Baba  Idibia and his wife Mrs Annie Idibia today visited victims of Makurdi Flood disaster at The International Market in Makurdi.

He was received at Govt House Makurdi by the First Lady H.E Mrs Eunice Ortom and other govt officials.

According to Ukan Kurugh the visit was put together by 2Baba to identify with  the people displaced by the recent flooding in Benue state. 

2Baba expressed sadness over the recent disaster that rendered many families displaced and helpless.

He express appreciation to Benue State government for acting and responding swiftly to the situation and informed the displaced  people that he and  his friends are putting up something for them that will be delivered soon from Lagos.

2Baba  Idibia presented relief materials that were later presented to the camp officials for onward distribution.He was accompanied by Miss Love Idoko of Dream Pointers,and Emma Adikwu of Jos Chillin  amongst others.
