These vehicles will again, facilitate easy movement to all places that prone to insecurity and require prompt responses.’
Special Adviser to the governor on Security Matter, Col. Edwin Jando, praised the security agencies in the state for their efforts at fighting crime in the state.
He said, ”experience has shown that it takes longer time for security operatives to get to certain or particular areas each time there is an emergency, but with this donations, it is the firm belief of the government that such areas would now be covered.’
In his remark, the commissioner of police,Benue State Command, Mr Bashir Makama, stated that the security agencies require the collaboration and cooperation of the government and people of the states to discharge its responsibilities to Nigerians and appreciated the governor for his gesture.
