Serena Williams’ stepmother files court papers accusing the tennis star of ‘bullying’ and kicking her out of her marital home

Serena Williams’ stepmother Lakeisha Graham has filed an emergency stay of eviction in Florida. The court papers, obtained by Splash News, accuses the tennis superstar of unfairly evicting her and Serena’s half brother from her marital home.

Serena’s elderly father Richard Williams, 85, who married Lakeisha in 2010, filed for divorce earlier this year. The couple have a minor son together.

Lakeisha, 38, filed an emergency court order after Serena’s lawyers gave her 30 days (until Sept. 2) to vacate the West Palm Beach, Florida house. But Lakeisha refused to move, saying she has nowhere else to go.

Richard’s divorce petition cites infidelity and accused Lakeisha of stealing his social security number and forging his name on a Quit Claim deed, which would have given her ownership of their house.

The petition also claimed Lakeisha was an alcoholic who left him for a man who “could pose a danger to the minor child.”

The lavish West Palm Beach property is wholly owned by Serena Williams, who welcomed her first child with fiancé and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian in Florida on Sept. 1.

An attorney for Lakeisha accused Serena of “bullying and kicking the wife and the child to the curb, and during the school year no less!”

He is seeking an emergency stay of the eviction and asked a judge to allow his client to live at the marital residence “free from intimidation and threats to be thrown out”.
