Teenager defiles 3-year-old girl in Benue

A 13-year-old teenager (name withheld) has allegedly raped a three-year-old girl at the Wadata area of Makurdi metropolis in Benue State.

Daily Trust gathered that the boy lured the little child into the premises of LGEA Primary School beside the Holy Ghost Catholic Cathedral along Hospital road in Makurdi and had carnal knowledge of her.

It was learnt that the teenage-boy was still in the act when some footballers who were training on the school field allegedly caught him and reported the matter to the police.

The Police Public Relation Officer (PPRO) in Benue State, Moses Joel Yamu, confirmed the story adding that the suspect is in the command's custody even as investigation into the matter has began.
