Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made their 1st public appearance as a newly engaged royal couple on Friday, Dec. 1. Prince Harry, 33, and Markle, 36, attended a charity event marking World AIDS Day in Nottingham, England.

Hundreds of enthusiastic Brits lined both sides of the road to greet Markle, who shook hands with her royal subjects young and old.

Ms. Markle looked sleek wearing a cashmere blend wool overcoat with leather detailing by Canadian brand Mackage which retails for $790. Her cashmere turtleneck sweater is from the British label Wolford and her beige beige midi skirt is by British brand Joseph.

Markle accessorized her working girl outfit with a burgundy Strathberry handbag which sold out minutes after she was spotted wearing it on Friday.

Markle’s engagement bling was hand crafted by Cleave & Company Jewelers using precious diamonds taken from Princess Diana‘s favorite brooch.
