Gov Shettima’s Orderly collapses, dies

 A Police Orderly to Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno state, Inspector Mohammed Azare has been confirmed death after collapsing at the Government House Maiduguri few hours after returning from Abuja with the governor’s entourage Sources have said.

Azare who have spent 26 years in service as Police Officer has never failed sick until on Monday at about 7:30pm when he collapsed in the presence of some of his colleagues at the first gate of the government house, before he was rushed to Nursing Home and confirmed by doctors on duty dead.

The governor who has spent almost a week on an official engagement in Abuja returned along side the deceased who was sighted by well wishers at the Maiduguri International Airport carrying one of the hand bags of the governor hale and hearty before his untimely death.

Although, no official statement was issued regarding the sudden death, sources suspected that Azare died as a result of cardiac arrest/heart attack. Details later.
