Ogun 2019: Falana joins governorship race.
A London-based housing estate professional, part-time Legal Advocate and Human Rights Activist, Mr Olufemi Falana has joined the Ogun State gubernatorial race in the forthcoming 2019 general elections.
A statement by the Falana Campaign Organisation (FACO), stated that Olufemi Falana would officially launch his gubernatorial campaign under the political platform of the Welfare Party of Nigeria (WPN) at the Iwe-Iroyin House, Ibara, Abeokuta on Saturday, June 2018.
It was further revealed that the flag-bearer of the Welfare Party of Nigeria, Mr Falana would also formally launch the Falana Foundation Cooperative which was described as a “Food Bank and Support for the Small Scale Enterprises” in Ogun State.
It was also gathered that Mr Olufemi who hails from Joga in Yewa and Adatan in Abeokuta South Local Government, would pay courtesy calls to Traditional and Community Leaders, including the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, His Majesty Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, Okukenu IV.
The statement also disclosed that the gubernatorial aspirant Mr Olufemi Falana would also pay homage to Traditional and Community Leaders in Yewa, Remo and Ijebu Administrative Divisions of the State.
