Defection Hits Kano as Speaker and 22 members join PDP

The ongoing defection hiting the legislature in Nigeria has moved from the National Assembly to the state Assembly, with the defection of the Speaker of Kano state House of Assembly with 22 other members from APC to PDP.

This latest defection is not be unconnected to the defection of Sen. Kwankwaso, the former Governor of Kano state who is having a faceoff with the current Governor, who was his former deputy.
