The body of late Benue born lawyer, George Aondona Gom who was shot by bandits on Lafia- Kadaroko road on Friday 27 July 2018 was finally laid to rest today in Kwande local government in Benue State.

A Requiem mass was held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cathedral, Makurdi after which family members and mourners proceeded to the village for interment. The sound of voices broken by grief, sang 'It is well' with everyone's soul. Nearer my God to thee, nearer to thee...

Aondona left behind a wife two sons ,a sister and a brother.He was highly loved and cherished by all.
