Port Harcourt declares total support for Governor Wike in celebratory street carnival

Several thousands of Youths of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area took to the streets of the town on Thursday to declare their support for the re-election of Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike.

The march was organised by one Million March for New Rivers State.

They marched from Aggrey Street in Port Harcourt Township where they moved through Government House to Mile One Market in Diobu.

They sang and danced Pro-Wike songs along Ikwerre Road as they stated that Governor Wike will complete his second term because of outstanding developmental strides.

The pro-Wike terminated at the Community secondary school, Orowurokwo Nkpolu where speakers used the opportunity to campaign for the PDP candidate in the forthcoming .

Member of the House of Representatives, Mrs Blessing Nsiegbe stated that the support for Governor Wike’s re-election.

Coordinator of One Million Youths for New Rivers State, Ehie Edison said that plot use violence to steal the mandate of the people will fail as Rivers Youths will stand with Wike irrespective of the situation.

Secretary General of the One Million Youths for New Rivers State, Major Jack noted that the mobilisation for the re-election of Governor Wike will be sustained till he is declared winner by next.

Mayor of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Mr Victor Ihunwo called on the people of constituency three in Port Harcourt to vote enmasse for the PDP candidate during the by-election.

Market women at the Mile One Market said they are impressed with Governor Wike, hence their decision to work for his re-election.
