Ben Bruce reacts to another Buhari’s Minister skipping NYSC, blames DSS

Federal lawmaker Ben Murray Bruce has said react to news that Adebayo Shittu, Minister of Communication also skipped National Youth Service Corps(NYSC).

According to Ben Bruce, it is shocking that people with high profile and high paying job skipped NYSC, whereas there are many graduates do not have jobs.

As I am reading the story on @PremiumTimesng about another @MBuhari minister who did not serve, I am struck by the sheer number of members of this administration who have high profile, highly paid jobs without serving, yet millions of youths are unemployed despite serving Nigeria

The lawmaker was however criticised by his followers on twitter that he has no justification to speak on the matter knowing well that these ministers were also screened by the National Assembly.

Defending the Nass, the Senator said Nass only screens based on the information presented to it, by the Department of State Services. So,  the fault is DSS’ not NASS.

Are you aware that the @NGRSenate screens these ministers based on the information given to us by the security services? If they were able to fool the @PoliceNG and the DSS, how does it make sense to blame me or the Senate? pic.twitter.com/gjTvNdm7Nv
