Senator Shehu Sani has yet again made another shocking revelation. The Senator who blew the whistle on the amount Nigerian senators take home monthly has yet again dropped another eye opener.
The lawmaker recently picked his interest and nomination forms in order to participate in the All Progressives Congress(APC) senatorial primaries that will produce a senator for his constituency.
However, the Senator speaking via Twitter on Monday revealed that a friend of his, also a politician gave him pepper and a Handkerchief to rub on his face, so as to shed tears ‘on the plight of the masses’’ while collecting and submitting his nomination form.
According to the lawmaker, he politely turned down the offer, saying he’s an activist and not an actor.
He wrote:
A politician and a friend gave me a pepper and a Handkerchief to rub on my face so as to shed tears ‘on the plight of the masses’’when I’m collecting and submitting my nomination form.I politely turned him down.I told him that I’m an activist and not an actor.

He also told of how, a group of young Nigerians ‘struggling’ to get their daily bread, also approached him, and asking for permission to announce that they bought his nomination form. This, the senator also said he declined, saying he didn’t want to be in that league of political deceptors.
He wrote:
A group of youth struggling for daily bread approached me that I should permit them to announce that they bought a nomination form for me,as part of the political tradition,I politely declined.I don’t want to be in the league of that deceptive political tradition.They agreed.
