Ortom sacks another loyalist of Senator Akume.

Governor Samuel Ortom, today approved the immediate sack of Mr Andrew Torhide Uchi, Executive Secretary of the Benue State Examinations Board.
A statement issued by the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Professor Dennis Ityavyar, said Mr Uchi’s removal is due to the fact that his continued stay in office is not to best interest of the board.

In his place, Mr Isaac Iorbee Hom has been appointed.
The statement added that the appointment of the new Executive Secretary is with immediate effect and directed the former to complete handover to the new one within three days.

Andrew Uchi hails from Tarka Local government and is believed to be a loyalist of Senator George Akume.

Recall in July Gov Ortom sacked many loyalists of Akume after drawing the battle line with the Senator who is believed to be his Godfather.
