The Buhari government is utterly shameless – FFK blast EFCC for placing Fayose on watch list

Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani Kayode has reacted to news that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) wrote to the Nigeria Customs Service, NCS, to place Fayose on a watch list.

EFCC says it believes Fayose harbours plans to abscond from the country after his tenure as Ekiti state governor elapses.

According to Fani Kayode, the president Muhammadu Buhari government is highly petty to place a governor, who hasn’t left office on a watch list. Fani Kayode noted that Fayose has governor has immunity to travel anywhere until his tenure elapses.

Speaking via Twitter on Monday, Fani Kayode wrote:

I have never seen such pettiness in my entire life. As a sitting Governor, Ayo Fayose has full immunity and can travel to any country that he pleases until his tenure lapses. The Buhari administration is utterly shameless. No man is God and their time will soon be over. pic.twitter.com/xvHC2KwStx
