Why Kemi Adeosun shouldn’t be prosecuted over forged NYSC certificate – Reno Omokri

Kemi Adeosun’s resignation yesterday definitely broke the Nigerian internet. While many called for her prosecution over the issue of forging her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) certificate, well some others praised her for taking the bull by the horn and doing what’s right.

However, Most of these comments were based on the initial reactions upon hearing the news but This changed after people read her resignation letter.

Reno Omokri had earlier asked president Muhammadu Buhari to treat her, how he treats members of People’s Democratic Party but has now had a U-turn.

According to the former presidential aide, Adeosun shouldn’t be prosecuted because he believes the forged certificate was a honest mistake.

He wrote via twitter thus:

Kemi Adeosun, @HMKemiAdeosun, claims she did not know her @nysc_ng exemption certificate was forged and I believe her. I read her letter and it made sense. Ordinarily, I would have called for her prosecution, but this was a honest mistake and she shouldn’t be punished #RenosDarts
