This is the problem one woman from Melbourne faced when she hadn't had a manicure before her boyfriend got down on one knee.
Twitter user @goodgaljenjen shared photos of how she saved the day at her cousin's engagement by offering up her own hand, with its perfect red nails, for the announcement photos.
'My cousin's boyfriend proposed to her but she didn't have her nails done,' she said.

The first photo is the one the newly engaged couple uploaded for the world to see and the second is the reality behind-the-scenes.
Jenna, who owns the @goodgaljenjen handle on Twitter, can be seen crossing her arms and kneeling out of sight as she snapped the picture.
Since sharing the photos on November 3 the post has garnered 114,911 retweets and 497,483 likes, with many congratulating her on her quick thinking.
Many people said they didn't even notice anything wrong in the first picture when they looked at it initially.

One woman said her husband was smart enough to suggest she have her nails done the day before he ended up proposing
Commenters congratulated the cousin on saving the day with her quick thinking and determination to capture a great photo
