Journalists pledge to support NHRC

 Nigerian journalists under the aegis of the Association of judicial correspondence have pledged to support the National Human Rights Commission realize it's mandate of promotions protection and enforcing the rights of Nigerians.

Speaking during a facilitation visit to the Executive Secretary of the Commission, Tony Ojukwu Esq.,the leader of the team Mr Ejike Benjamin noted that the work of the Commission demanded the complimentary support of the media and the general public.

Mr Tony Ojukwu who was elated by the surprise visit by the men of the fourth Estate of the Realm showered praises to the Nigerian Journalist as one of the most vibrant in the world.

The Executive Secretary noted the long standing relationship between the Commission and the media stressing that there is every need to maintain the synergy.

He thanked the journalists for the visit and slated that he had already put on a process to enable him engage with the press as soon as the New year begins.
