BREAKING: Onnoghen: NJC to hold emergency meeting Tuesday

The National Judicial Council (NJC) has scheduled an emergency meeting for Tuesday to discuss the leadership crisis rocking the judiciary.

Tribune Online confirmerd that invitation was Sunday night sent to all members of the council.

The meeting, checks revealed, was initiated by some concerned members to douse the fire raging over the controversial suspension of the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Walter Onnoghen and acting appointment of Justice Ibrahim Tanko Mohammed by President Muhammadu Buhari.
