Presidency releases more names into Aisha Buhari’s presidential campaign team [SEE LIST]

The Presidency has released more names into the 700-member list of the All Progressives Congress, APC campaign team for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari in the forthcoming presidential elections.

Tagged ‘Women And Youth Presidential Campaign Team’, the group is chaired by the First Lady Aisha Muhammadu Buhari and assisted by Dolapo Osinbajo, the wife of the Vice President.

The team, which was inaugurated today (Thursday) at Presidential Villa, Abuja, included wives of governors, senators, ministers and former governors among others.

The list raised a lot of dust and reactions among many Nigerians who felt that they deserved to make the list, considering their immense contribution or support for President Buhari.

Consequently, in apparent move to assuage the feelings of frustration by these Nigerians, the presidency through Bashir Ahmed, the Special Assistant to the President, released more names into the team.

Mr Ahmed said: “Like I said yesterday the list of members of the Women and Youth Presidential Campaign Team released some days ago was just first batch and additional names would be included, today, I am pleased to release the additional members of the Campaign Team who are going to work diligently for President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election.”
