Governor Suswam Is Angry With His Exco.
There is anxiety among members of the Benue State Executive Council (EXCO), following the removal of the Commissioner for Women Affairs, Mrs. Ntol Unongo, by Governor Gabriel Suswam.
She allegedly failed to deliver her area to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) during the governorship and House of Assembly elections.
Mrs. Unongo was sacked 24 hours after the results of the elections were declared.
Investigations revealed that most of the commissioners and Special Advisers who did not deliver their local governments are compiling their hand over notes.
According to a source, those who might be affected include: Commissioner for Agriculture Shaapera Naako, who apart from failing to “deliver” his Ushongo Local Government, is believed to have performed below expectations.
Also, Special Adviser Cletus Akwaya failed to deliver his Kyan Constituency and Mbadede Ward, where Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) woman candidate, Mrs. Dorothy Mato, dusted the PDP Majority Leader, David Mwar.
The source said the governor is “furious over the mere 91,000 margin votes.”

Apart from the Commissioner of Education, Benjamin Ashaver Hur, who delivered his Azendeshi ward in the governorship, Presidential and National Assembly elections, most of the political appointees lost in their poling units and wards.
