Face of Ghana movies, Juliet Ibrahim is one hell of a superwoman, the actress whose profile is constantly on a rise has got a handful to deal with. She recently returned from a month tour of the United states of America where she made out time to attend the Nigerian Entertainment Award and the US premiere of Funke Akindele's blockbuster movie The Return Of Jenifa and many other functions. Not known to sit on her behind doing nothing, the curvaceous actress who juggles being a wife, a mother and an actress effortlessly is currently on a movie set in Abuja, Nigeria. While on that, she's also making plans to launch her Juliet Ibrahim Foundation (JIF) in December and would soon embark on an awareness campaign about cancer of the kidney.

She said one the reasons why she is initiating the campaign is that the ailment is caused by simple day-to-day activities that people could avoid.
Juliet said her two aunties were living with the disease but because they got to know of it early, they were able to get the necessary treatment and manage it well.
“The rate at which Ghanaians and West Africans are dying from this disease is increasing by a huge percentage over the months,” she and disclosed that her foundation will help Ghanaians and other West African citizens to know their status and prevent the cancer from getting to the incurable stage.
She said JIF will help save lives and put smiles on the faces of the less fortunate living with the cancer.
She said people with a smoking habit or are overweight, have a higher risk of getting kidney cancer.
“Some workplaces and the works we do can cause kidney cancer because we are exposed to certain chemicals on a daily basis,” she noted.
Juliet said after the launching the campaign, she will embark on an awareness tour and other activities which will be made known in due course.
