How To Save Money On Your Wedding.

We all love a wedding but they can cost a fortune. On average most couples end up spending a minimum N5M and from there the costs can rocket.
Now if you are Bella Adenuga  getting married to Jameel Disu and one day destined to be the next  Business Mogul cost really doesn’t come it to it. And who else could get to use the most expensive venues  free of charge?
Similarly a top footballer doesn’t have to worry about splashing millions of naira on vintage champagne, the chances are a celebrity magazine will be picking up the tab. But for those who need to be careful there is a whole host of advice on how to have a great day without breaking the bank.
The key rule is to remember that the couple who spend N500,000 on their wedding will be just as married as the people who spend N10million.

The venue. Right, you’ve ruled out be able to get  Muson Centre ,Civic Centre or Eko Hotel on the cheap so now you need to set your sights a little lower. The local community centre may not have the same appeal, at least on the outside, but take some time to dress the interior with lights and decorations and you can bring it to life.

Day of the Week. If you want to spend then insist on having a Saturday wedding at the height of Festive period, those who need to save a bit should think about choosing a Friday or any other day not neccessary during a festive period. Your guests won’t mind, it’s a good excuse for a day off work then the rest of the weekend to get over the celebrations.

The dress. Remember all brides are beautiful so you don’t have to spend a fortune on the dress.
 Save up your cash and go on Honeymoon  to the best place you can afford after your wedding  just the two of you. You can always show your family and friends the pictures. For everyone else, there’s always a credit card.
