8 Bode Thomas Street was the cynosure of all eyes on Sunday 29th as Lovers of style and class thronged the opening of Yomi Casual Clothing, as Omoniyi Makun, one of the fastest rising designers in the fashion industry who operates as Yomi Casual, opened his new showroom with his creative 2012 collection of exquisite designs.

The high class event which was designed as a champagne party was marked with the same touch of creativity that is evident in Yomi Casual designs. According to the 2012 winner of the City People Hottest Designer of the year, the opening of the showroom was an opportunity to celebrate all who have supported him by wearing his designs over the years.

The trendy event which was attended by the crème of the society who had come to love the Yomi Casual brand began with a red carpet reception at 2pm during which time fans of the Yomi Casual brand strode the red carpet in honor of the talented designer they had gathered to celebrate. Amongst celebrities who attended the event were popular comedian Ay and his lovely wife Mabel, Alex Ekubo, Gideon and Ajibade from the popular daily soap opera-Tinsel, Nollywood Diva-Ebube Nwangbo, 2010 Big Brother Africa winner- Uti and 2012 Big Brother Africa Stargame contestant-Chris.
Also in attendance were popular Nigerian comedians Elenu and Emeka Smith, Naija FM OAP-Ushbebe, Nigeria Music icon- Sammie Okposo and super-model Ejiro Jalogo. The event was also a show of support from the fashion industry as great designers such Mudi, Alvin Couture, Frank Oshodi and Femi Toys were also visibly open in their support for Yomi Casual.

@ first it ws like a get-together,n befor u could say "hey" everywhere ws filled.celebrities n'their fans were drinking from d'same bottle n'buying from d'same designer yomi,it ws fun,couldnt hav forgiven ma self if i had missed it..
