Bill Gates Tops Forbes 2012 Wealthiest People ,Warren Buffett No. 2.

Bill Gates and Warren Buffett took the top two spots for the 12th straight year on the list of America’s wealthiest people in 2012, according to Forbes on Wednesday.

Gates, chairman of Microsoft Corp. is the richest American for the 19th year in a row with a net worth of $66 billion, Forbes said. Berkshire Hathaway Inc.’s Buffett followed in second place with a net worth of $46 billion, a position he has held for 12 years straight.

Larry Ellison, chief executive of Oracle Corp was third with $41 billion, while brothers Charles Koch and David Koch of Koch Industries took the fourth and fifth spots.
