And i stumbbled on this news article and i will like to share it with my readers. It is from a Dubai Newspaper
Khaleejtimes.com,please read.

''Food control officials in Dubai have said that they are unaware of an alleged food poisoning in the emirate that has reportedly affected Nigerian first lady Patience  Jonathan who is under treatment in Germany.

Several media outlets, including leading Nigerian dailies and websites, have reported that the wife of Nigerian President Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan had to be sent to Wiesbaden for treatment after she allegedly suffered food poisoning during her holiday in Dubai in late August.
Majority of the reports this week said the food poisoning episode happened when Jonathan spent a few days in Dubai soon after a summit of first ladies from across Africa that was hosted by her. On returning from Dubai, she was apparently given initial treatment for food poisoning in Nigeria before she was referred abroad.
While the news about her food poisoning has gone viral, some reports have also said that she underwent a surgery for a ruptured appendix after the food poisoning. However, senior officials from the Dubai Municipality told Khaleej Times that they were not aware of any such incident.
Assistant Director-General of Public Health, Safety and Environment Monitoring Sector Salem bin Mesmar and Director of the Food Control Department Khalid Mohammed Sharif Al Awadhi said they had not even heard about it, let alone investigating it. “If she had come here, she would have stayed in and had food from well-reputed places only. I don’t think they would serve her anything that is bad. We have not heard anything about such a food poisoning issue,” said Mesmar.
The Associated Press, which also reported about “a severe bout of food poisoning that has lasted for days”, however, did not mention anything about Jonathan’s food poisoning taking place in Dubai. AP quoted an official who spoke on condition of anonymity as saying that the information about Jonathan’s illness had yet to be officially made public, despite numerous newspaper reports and rumours circulating on the Internet.
Though the Nigerian president has made no public comments about his wife’s health, it has become a topic of discussion among the people of Nigeria.
According to sources, the Nigerian presidential couple is expected to be in Dubai in late October for the African Energy Summit and First Ladies’ Summit scheduled to be held as part of the World Energy Forum.''
