Aluu4: Music Stars Set To Unite In Memory Of Aluu Victims

Aluu 4 Rest In Peace.

Nigerians are determined to ensure that memories of the four young men- Biringa Chiadika Lordson, Ugonna Kelechi Obuzor,  Mike Lloyd Toku and Tekena Erikena – who were brutally killed in Aluu, Rivers State continue to live on.
In light of this, a blogger and entrepreneur, Jide Salu, is rallying fellow bloggers and other Nigerians to take up the cause of immortalizing the late University of Port Harcourt undergraduates, now referred to as the #Aluu4.
For a start, a plan is underway to have the track ‘Ain’t No Love In The Heart Of The City,’ which was recorded by Ugonna and Lloyd to be re-recorded by our music stars and then released to the public with all the proceeds going their families, used in setting up a foundation in memory of the victims, or used in erecting a monument at UNIPORT.
To show the importance of the initiative, a new video of that song has been released and posted on YouTube. See video below:
The promoters of the initiative have also opened a Facebook page  which supporters of the cause can check out and ‘Like’. They also encouraged Nigerians to use the tag #aluu4song on twitter with regards to the campaign.
Youth-centric TV show, Rubbin’ Minds which airs on Channels TV weekly by 3pm on Sundays, is also dedicating its show tomorrow to both the #Aluu4 and the victims of the Mubi massacre as well. It’s one edition you should not miss.
