FCT Police Restricts Movement In And Out Of Abuja Tomorrow ,Cancels All Flights To Abuja Too.

FCT Commissioner of Police Femi Ogunbayode yesterday said there would be restriction of movements including flights into Abuja during the Saturday’s area council’s election.
He told Reporters that the security forces will limit unauthorized movements to allow smooth voting adding that there may be flight restriction during the exercise.
“The restriction is just for a day, so people should cooperate with us,” he said.
Security forces will restrain movements from 12 midnight to 5pm on Saturday.
But the police said people with genuine reasons can apply for movement permits.
The police spokeswoman, deputy superintendent Hyelhira Altine Daniel, said students sitting for examinations on that day won’t be allowed to go to their centers until clearance is obtained from the commissioner.
“For now, no student applied seeking for permission to be allowed to go for exams. No movement will be allowed after 7am,” she said.
