Kwara Poly Shut Down Following Student’s Protest Over Killing By Trigger-Happy Cop


Ahmed Dayo, the Kwara state polytechnic student shot by the killer cop in Ilorin being rushed to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital by his colleagues

Kwara Polytechnic was Tuesday closed down indefinitely by the State government following students' protest over alleged shooting of their colleague by a police personnel.
Ahmed Dayo, a National Diploma student of the Department of Accounting was reportedly shot by a  police officer attached to a bullion van owned by a first generation bank in Offa yesterday.
Sources say the killer cop had aimed the shots at the tyre of the taxi cab from which the victim was alighting.
Ahmed Dayo who was rushed to the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital later died sparking protests from students of the institution.
