Red Cross Nominates Omotola,Genevieve ,Linda Ikeji And Others As Celebrity Red Cross Volunteers.

As part of activities to mark the 150th Anniversary of the World Red Cross,Nollywood Queen Omotola Jolade Ekeinde,Genevieve Nnaji, and 22,other Celebrities have been nominated as Celebrity Red Cross Volunteers.
According to Letter signed by the 150th Anniversary Committee Chairman to all recipients, the Lagos Branch of the Red Cross decided to identify and appreciate celebrities who have in one way or the other identified with and supported the activities and course of the Red Cross Society.”
“After due and diligent consultations,” the Letter continues, “and in line the Principles and philosophy of Red Cross Society, we are glad to inform you that you have been nominated for induction as a Celebrity Red Cross Volunteer.”

The Induction Ceremony comes up alongside the unveiling of the Red Cross Anniversary Logo on May 16, 2012 at Lagos Sheraton Hotels and Towers.
