The brain behind Lush Event Planners did one of my Brother inlaw's daughter's wedding in Makurdi Benue State,and it was GORGEOUS.

The atmosphere of the wedding planned by LUSH EVENTS was beautiful with the combination of elegance, luxury, class,cool and simple.

Every bit of minutiae from ceiling to floor to table had been carefully thought out, planned and arranged. Their events look effortless, yet you sense the kind of dedication and work that had been poured in. We caught up with these lovely hardwork Architecture turned Event Planner recently and we decided to know what makes her and Lush Events unique.

How did you get into the event-planning field?,
Growing up I loved organising  parties with my siblings as a hobby, as a tradition we would  contribute money and organise  proper Xmas house parties n BBQs, for our friends to come enjoy. Also as a person I love colors and all d effizzy details of an event an I always kept an eye on those whenever I attended events little did I know I was grooming myself for a passionate business affair with the event world.


What is one skill that is essential to event planning?
One Essential skill to event planning is hardwork.


Are there any personality characteristics that would be helpful with this kind of job?
Yeah of coS, personality characteristics that could be helpful with this Kind of job are eyes For Beauty, Colors, and Details


Explain your typical workday.
My days are a bit different eg typical Work day For Mon-thurs 7- 11 am house chores ( husband and baby tins hahaha ) 11- 3 pm Office tins, client meetings and events detailing with staff 4- 7pm gym and site tinZ (Am still very active in Architecture ) 7pm- retire home for the day and do My architectural drawings, Friday- Saturday supervising different event sets , Sunday after church hangout with Friends and family !


Is there a process you follow to plan an event? (checklists, etc.)
Yes, we listen attentively to the client On what they want? how and When then offer Own Professional Suggestions' Observations, and Advice then Make Sure we are both on the some page before we Finally seal the deal.


Are there any things that can help guarantee the success of an event?
Things that can help guarantee the success of an event are , One understanding  both your client and client 's brief' then I. giving and Using the best available For the job.
