[Gruesome Pictures] Police Foil Attempt By Angry Mob To Burn Ibadan Ritualists' Den.

Detectives at Oyo State Police Command, have foiled an attempt by a mob to set ablaze the Soka ritualists' den in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, western Nigeria.
The angry mob comprising family members of missing persons and those that were rescued stormed the place threatening to burn the abandoned building used by people suspected to be ritualists. The horror house was discovered at the weekend.
A reliable police source told P.M.NEWS Monday that eight rescued victims were receiving treatment at Adeoyo State Hospital, Ibadan.

Sources further told our correspondent that six suspects have been arrested in connection with the incident and they have made useful confessional statements to the police.
The spokesperson for the Oyo State Police Command, Bisi Okuwobi-Ilobanafor, a Superintendent of Police, also told P.M.NEWS that "investigation is ongoing. We are on top of the situation and six people have been arrested. People attempted to burn the place yesterday (Sunday) and our policemen dispersed them. As I speak with you our men are there."
The police had said Sunday they have opened a murder probe after the discovery of rotting bodies and skeletons in an abandoned building in Ibadan.
Police also rescued several severely malnourished people found wandering in the bush near the building in the city of Ibadan, while 15 or more had been found shackled in leg-chains inside in the eight-room abandoned house.
The grisly discovery came after a group of motorcycle taxi riders reported that some of their members had gone missing and were believed to have been kidnapped.
"When we got to the abandoned building in the Soka community of Ibadan yesterday (Saturday), we saw decomposed corpses, skeletons and skulls in the building and surrounding bushes," Oyo state police spokeswoman Ilobanafor told AFP.
"Some malnourished human beings looking like living skeletons were also rescued in the bushes surrounding the building," she said.
There were gruesome scenes of rotting bodies, human skulls and other body parts littering the scene, as well as ID and and ATM cards, shoes, bags and clothes.
A haggard woman who was allegedly kidnapped in the southern Edo State in 2008 was among those rescued.
At least one skeletal-looking man was found in the throes of death, groaning in pain as flies hovered around his face.
