BSU VC Advises Students To Go For HIV/AIDS Screening.




 Benue State University, Makurdi, the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Charity Angya on Thursday advised students of the institution to go for HIV and AIDS test to know their health status.
Angya, who gave the advice at the university’s 22nd matriculation ceremony, also advised them against unprotected sexual encounters,this to her is
 to ascertain a HIV-free environment and good conduct.
``If you check your status and you are already infected, please go for treatment and do not pass on the virus,” she said.

Angya, also advised them against vices such as cultism and taking drugs.
She told the students that administration of matriculation oath was a covenant between them and the university.
According to report, the institution matriculated 4,900 students. (NAN)
