Fresh Ideas Succeeding Together For Social And Democratic Change,Terseer Ugbor Set For Legislation.
There are approximately 1.8 billion young people in the world and they are a major human resource for development and key agents for social change, economic growth and technological innovation.
Decision-making takes place in all aspects of our lives and. participation in making these decisions has long been recognized as a fundamental human right.
By strengthening their capabilities and giving them opportunities to participate, young people can develop attributes and skills that will have a positive impact on the rest of their lives.
In Nigeria through active participation in politics ,the young people can be empowered to play a vital role in their own development as well as in that of their communities. It helps them learn life-skills, gain confidence, knowledge on democracy and citizenship and have the opportunity to take responsibility for their own actions. Young people may become parents, civic leaders, employers, workers or politicians at this point they produce New Ideas that are suitable for proper legislation, good governance and social change.
This is why i am introducing Terser Ugbor who represents the young generation for Change.
Terseer Ugbor is an Abuja based entrepreneur and business man. A media, communications and public relations professional who is currently undergoing a Masters Degree in Public Policy after receiving a BSC in Sociology from University of Abuja and Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Benue State University in 2007.
Terseer was part of the strategy and planning team of the Goodluck/Sambo campaign organisation, where he was later given the responsibility to head the New Media department of the Neighbour2Neighbour organisation that worked towards President Jonathan’s election in 2011. He’s interest in politics and governance was triggered by this political exposure and he became determined to realize his aspiration to impact society positively through political participation.
He wants to represent the good people of Kwande/Ushongo Federal Constituency at the National Assembly in 2015 and use this platform to introduce Fresh Ideas that will improve the life of people, the economy of Benue and Nigeria in general.
He is the son of Air Commodore Stephen Ugbor (Rtd.), my uncle-in-law.
We know he worked for PDP at the federal level, but since there is no party logo on this poster I’m guessing he may be up to something. We’ll wait and see. Lets support Terseer, we need younger generation in government with fresh and new ideas to move this country forward.
Please support my inlaw.
