I never expected this level of attention from this post ,while the people involved feel the whole story is false .the facts maybe be hidden ,but I feel I have not harmed anyone ,rather I feel I have created a voice for matters arising from a political event and I want people to look at the issues on ground and not to judge me wrongly.Read my response after cut.
This afternoon Gen India Garba's close ally Richard Tersoo Mnenga posted something on Facebook demanding an apology from me for a post I did two days again.They requested me to reveal details of the post and source of information.I quickly posted the link where I got the news from ,I wish to state that I do not have political grudges against Gen Garba and others,but as Blogger and a Journalist,it is my duty to Inform,Educate and Communicate with people through Social Media.
I wish to also commend my Daddy Gen Garba for this bold step as it will put to rest speculations about his Political ambition and we commiserate with other chieftains of APC who feel embarrassed by this appraisal done by a Nigerian Newspaper.We hope that the concerned party chieftains will contact the said newspaper for further details and explanations.
We regret any inconvenience we might have caused anyone.

General Jonathan India Garba retired has expressed with dismay, the post by one Mimi Atedze that he alongside with other APC chieftains have defected to another party. The General who spoke to me furiously about the malicious and spurious post revealed that it is a plot to drag his name in the mud by some enemies of progress who are threatened by the growing profile of the APC to which he belongs. As a distinguished progressive, he said he remains loyal and committed to the ideals of the party which he greatly contributed in forming, that he has never discussed with any group about leaving the peoples oriented party. All he is doing is to make sure that the APC wins all elections from the Local Government to the Federal level.
The General on whose platform I write this post has directed the author of the post in question to reveal in details, her source of information and as a matter of urgency, tender an unreserved apology. General Garba is still a staunch member of the APC and has no intention of dumping it now or in the nearest future. In his words, all hands should be put on deck to chase out the PDP come 2015.

I also think yours is not to confuse and mislead those you may be targeting to inform and educate. Where your information and education turns out to mere propaganda, it’s then put your journalism to question. Honestly, your post here and your vindication represent the present day Nigerian journalists. I’m not a journalist but a colleague partner in the information section. Journalists before they blog, they have to check their facts, facts that are not checked in most cases turn out to mere lies. Nobody should deceive you, you need to confirm before blogging if not no court of law will pardon you for ‘copying’ and presenting to the public injuriously wrong information.
You may not have known – you have demonstrated that you are a card carrying member of a particular party and is seriously working for it. My advice to you is that you should desist from partisan politics but if you most do not hind under anything but do it very openly. You are free nobody can stop you. Good blessings!
