Unknown Gunmen Raid Police Station, Loot Armoury In Benue.

About 50 gunmen, monday, attacked a Police station in Igumale town in Benue State, overpowered the operatives on duty and carted away arms from the armory of the station .
According to an eye witness account, the gunmen in a convoy of cars stormed the community at about 8pm, shooting sporadically in the air, scaring away locals “They came to Igumale on Monday night at about 8pm in several cars. Initially nobody actually understood what was going on until we saw over 50 men who started shooting injuring many while everyone scampered. “After scaring everyone away, the men matched straight to the Police station and overpowered and injured the officers and men on duty, after which they broke into the armory of the station and emptied it.
