Popular Female Dancer, Kemi Omotoyinbo Dies During Childbirth.

Popular female dancer, Kemi Omotoyinbo is dead. The light-complexioned, humble, young lady died on Independence Day night,1st October 2014 at a Lagos hospital. Kemi died exactly 20 days after her wedding to husband, Godwin Eloanyi.
According to Windzmediaonline, before her death, Kemi was a bubbly young lady, full of life and had dreams of becoming one of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. Few days before her wedding which held on 13th September 2014 at White House Event Hall, Toyin Street, Ikeja-Lagos , she told www.windzmediaonline.com that she is taking a break to focus on her family and hope to come back big time.

Her dream was not to come back as a dancer but a dance instructor, movie producer and actress. Kemi became popular as Pasuma Wonder’s dancer and has also graced the stage of several popular singers including Sir Shina Peters and K1 de Ultimate. The death of Kemi still remains a mystery to a lot of people. While many are still in shock and yet to get over it majority of her friends are speculating that the hospital which she gave up the ghost killed her. Kemi is said to have been in labour for over days and died few hours before her scheduled emergency C&S. Sources disclosed that, Kemi remained strong and battled for her life with hopes that the doctors would attend to her before the expected deposit of 300,000 for her operation would complete.
According to one of her friends, Kemi wouldn’t have died if the doctors had paid attention to her condition.“ Kemi wouldn’t have died if the doctors did pay attention to her. She was in labour for several days and was asked to pay certain amount of money before she could be operated upon.” She told us with tears rolling down her eyes, she cursed the doctors and the hospital endlessly. She continued,“ The truth is that Kemi has been in labour for over one week. She got admitted into the hospital 2 days after her wedding. She tried in vain to give birth the normal way but the baby just didn’t come. She was in and out of labour for about 1 week.
Eventually the doctor told her she would have to go through C&S. It was termed emergency C&S. The hospital told her husband that they would have to pay a sum of 450,000 for her to be operated upon. He also noted that before anything could be done they would have to make a deposit of 300,000. The husband made several efforts to raise 300,000 but deposited all he had. He begged the doctors to please go ahead with the operation and would pay before the next day. That was on October 1st , the night she died."

"The doctor refused and stated categorically that he would not move an inch else he pays 300,000. It was at that point Kemi decided to forward messages to people she knows so she could get help. She got responses that money would be made available to her the next day. On hearing that the husband went to beg the doctors again, still they refused. No bank was opened and nothing could be done until Thursday October 2nd but unfortunately she gave up the ghost that night. My point is, the doctors knew she had to go through emergency CS. they could have saved her life and get the money later. Nigeria is a very bad country I must confess.
