Suswam Drops A Clue On Who Will Succeed Him In 2015.



As you all know,The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP commenced its primaries on Saturday,its the process of nominating flag bearers for the 2015 polls.

For the first time,Gov, Dr Gabriel Suswam dropped a hint on his possible successor in 2015.

According to NigeriaPeople'sPost.com,Gov Suswam gave the hint while addressing his kinsmen at his country home in Anyiin Logo LG,on saturday while participating in the delegate congress.

Suswam revealed that, he will give his blessing to a successor amongst the four candidates selected by the Tiv Traditional council sometime around July 2014. Those chosen by the traditional council are from the zone favoured to produce the next governor. They are Former Minister of Trade, Industry and Investment, Dr Samuel Ortom, Former Speaker of Benue State, Hon Terhemen Tarzoor, Engr. Felix Atume, former Registrar of COREN and Mr Hingah Biem, a former permanent secretary in Benue Civil Service.

This public declaration bars many chiefly being, some of his close allies like his deputy, Steve Lawani, friend, Same Ode and former Medical Director of Federal Medical Centre Makurdi, Mathias Oyigeya who are from zone C to continue in the race.

Affected by this declaration, also, are Former Attorney General of the Federation, Chief Mike Kaase Aondoakaa and others.

Addressing party men at his country home Logo Local Government, Suswam said, he became governor through the same process of traditional blessing and anointing, so he was not going against the process that made him.
