DSS Officials Arrest & Interrogate Newspaper Staff In Makurdi.

The men of the DSS today arrested and interrogated the Advertising/Marketing Manager of Nigerian Peoples Post in Makurdi,Mr Rogers Adaaku.He was arrested during the Convocation ceremony at BSU in Makurdi, Benue state, over unclear circumstances.Apart from Rogers,the DSS searched for other key staff of the paper but could not get them.


Many the vendors selling Nigeria People's Post in the state were also harassed and copies taken off the stand.
The onslaught on an objective paper, is not clear, but were insinuations that it may be connected to an investigative report that the current edition of Nigerian peoples post carried.

Rogers Adaaku has since been released .

We call on all men of goodwill to speak against this harrasment.
