Gen.Buhari's Presidential Campaign Train In Makurdi.

The presidential Aspirant of the All Progressive Congress(APC), Gen. Muhammadu Buhari stormed Makurdi the Benue State capital today accompanied by his deputy Prof. Osibanjo Oyebanjo.The duo who drove in a motorcade amidst cheers and hailing from hundreds supporters and well wishers who thronged the road from  the airport to the Ibrahim Babangida Square where he addressed a crowd.
Addressing the crowd, Buhari promised the people of Benue that he will revitalize agriculture to demphasise the nation's reliance on oil.
Buhari who was clad in a flowing Ange' agbada and his deputy in a red and black striped agbada, also promised to improve the educational sector.
Speaking on the security situation in the country, the former head of state decried the negligence of the Nigerian armed forces. He promised that " if elected our soldiers will no longer have to buy their uniforms by themselves again". 

Also on the retired general's entourage were the APC national chairman, Mr. Oyegun, Governor Tanko Almakura of Nassarawa state, Sen. Abike Dabire, Sen. Bukola Saraki and a host of high ranking party members.others at the event were Sen Minority Leader Sen.George Akume and his wife,Senator Barnabas Gemade Chief Audu Ogbe ,other party leaders and APC stakeholders in Benue state.
The Nat Chairman of APC presented the gubernatorial flag to the Governorship candidate in the state.
